- Press release from Boulder District Attorney on arrest of John Mark Karr, August 17, 2006.
- The Bonita Papers. Acording to Internet poster Spade, "These are the unedited "notes" of Bonita Sauer, secretary/para-legal to Dan Hoffman. Bonita intended to write a book from the case documents provided to her boss. But Bonita's notes were sold to the tabs by her nephew." Spade (post deleted) claims that Bonita works in the same office as Larry Pozner. It should be strongly emphasized that much of the information in these papers has not been corroborated. Internet poster Jameson (post deleted) claims Bonita has disavowed much of what is in these papers. User beware.

Forthcoming Books and Media
- Book Announced. "is writing a book entitled "Murder in Small Places" about the criminal justice system in Colorado" according to acandyrose.com. "It specifically addresses the need for systemic change and illustrates how the Ramsey case exposes "bought" justice."
- Book Published in Japan. On May 15, 2007, Internet poster Cookie aka Judith Miller, who is Tom Miller's wife, announced publication of his book JonBenet Ramsey: PROSTITUTION OF JUSTICE, in Japan.
- Book to be Published in U.S. Cookie further stated: "We are moving closer to getting it published in English."
- Reading. A reading of the first few pages of the book by Doc Miller on May 24, 2007 is available on YouTube.
- Laurence Smith. The Last Christmas Of JonBenet Ramsey, book originally had been scheduled to be released on November 1, 2005, with book signings scheduled for July 2006. The author explains that "The date of November, 2005 was originally used for the purposes of potential publishers and/or agents to reflect marketing strategy" (author communication with Miss Marple, July 7, 2006). The book was then delayed until December 1, 2006, reflecting a "3 month" delay in the original publication date that the author states was necessitated by small changes made to reflect the death of Patsy Ramsey.
- December 2007. In July 2007, Smith's Website was updated to state: "The last Christmas of JonBenet Ramsey has just been released and will be in bookstores nationally by December 1, 2007."
- Later in 2007? "A little bird" has informed Internet poster RiverRat that "this book is still scheduled for publication this year."
- April 2007 Due Date? Internet poster SuperDave reports that the author said the deadline has been slipped to April, 2007.
- Table of Contents. On February 25, 2007, the author wrote Internet poster Solace saying the book had been delayed due to Patsy's death, the Karr situation, and resolving some legal issues with Ramseys, so it lost its place at the printer's. No new date was suggested, but the author included a Table of Contents.
- Motivation for Writing Book. The book allegedly will exceed 300 pages and the author has stated his aspiration that "THIS BOOK SERVE AS A DEFINITIVE CONCLUSIONARY ANALYSIS OF THIS CASE, WITH NO FUTURE BOOK BEING ABLE TO CREDIBLY REFUTE MY FINDINGS OR POSE ANY CREDIBLE CONTRASTING THEORY(S)."
- Is Laurence Smith a Fraud? Some posters have questioned whether Smith is a fraud: his site states that he is a member of American Psychology Association, but there is no such association; moreover, he is not a member of the American Psychological Association according to Internet poster Princess ((Post#: 202055). Internet poster lowcrawl (Post#: 202114) asserts that The State of Illinois Division of Professional Regulation License Lookup "does not show or indicate, any record of Laurence Smith, being a licensed Clinical Psychologist in the State of Illinois." Strictly speaking, Smith only claims: "with a Masters degree in clinical psychology from the University of Chicago, and as a member of the American Psychology Association, he has spent nearly 28 years in various areas of the psychology milieu including clinician, counselor, therapist, and staff consultant for various major corporations." Thus, technically he never claimed to be licensed, nor did he explicitly claim to have practiced in Illinois. That said, as Internet poster Jayelles has pointed out, Smith has been unusually vague about his specific credentials: "NO academic worth his/her salt will expect to be taken at face value - that is why they list their credentials in such detail." A detailed critique by Jayelles is here. Along the same lines, Smith sent Internet poster Athena a very unprofessional personal attack in response to her queries about his book.
- Wendy Hutchens reported in early September 2006 that she is working on editing a short auto-biography she wrote in May 2006, as an ebook to help answer people’s questions about her and her motives for reporting what she knew about John Mark Karr. It should be ready soon.
- Michael Tracey book due August or December 2006; as of mid-May, Tracey had said the manuscript would be completed by August 6, 2006, but this was before the Karr incident blew up; scheduled release date has not been reported.
- Janet McReynolds is writing a novel A Sense of Tragedy according to Internet poster Evening2, but as of mid-July 2006, due date and publisher were unknown.
- Linda Arndt is working on a memoir that will include details of private conversations she had with Patsy Ramsey; as of late June 2006, the scheduled release date had not been reported.
- Alex Hunter. In a December 2006 interview in which he was asked about a book, "Hunter said he's had offers and serious temptations to write one, but he doesn't think he will, at least not until the killer is put away."
- Rita Johnson was years ago working on a book titled Whatever Happened to Baby JonBenet: In the Evil Mansion on 15th Street. While she claimed the book's publication was imminent, it never was published. Many believe her claim was a hoax.
